Volunteer Opportunities

As a Castle Medical Center volunteer, you can choose from a variety of assignments, whether you prefer to work directly with patients or behind the scenes.

While some volunteers join us to learn new skills, others come for the sole purpose of helping others. Whatever the reason, there are many opportunities available for you including:

• Greeting visitors and guests
• Discharging patients
• Delivering and transporting in-house mail
• Delivering flowers to patients
• Transporting patients within the hospital
• Cashiering and assisting Gift Shop customers
• Comforting families waiting for patients in emergency and chemotherapy
• Providing clerical assistance
• Providing Information Desk assistance
• Providing activities and socialization for stroke victims
• Assisting pre-schoolers at our Teddy Bear Clinic.

We invite you to become a volunteer at Castle Medical Center. Your gift of time will be used to support and enhance the services we provide to our patients. It will also offer you an opportunity for growth, new friendships, recognition and the satisfaction of helping others. The services provided by our volunteers are invaluable, and your time and efforts are recognized and appreciated. Each hour you give does make a difference.
