Giving Opportunities

On Monday, December 15, 2008, philanthropist Joseph J. Zilber, founder of the Milwaukee-based Joseph and Vera Zilber Family Foundation, presented Castle Medical Center with a check for $500,000 for the renovation of Castle Medical Center’s Birth Center, now known as the Vera Zilber Birth Center.

Giving to Castle

Regular, systematic support is the lifeblood of many nonprofit organizations. At Castle Medical Center, annual contributions are made by hundreds of community members. We are also most appreciative of and grateful to those who donate through special events and personal solicitations.

How to Give

For your convenience Castle Medical Center accepts contributions in the form of cash, checks, credit card payments, and stock transfers.

If you are directing your contribution to one of the hospital funds listed above, please indicate the fund name on the memo portion of your check.

Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Furthermore, you can be assured that one hundred percent of your donation will be devoted to the hospital fund you have chosen to support.

Leave a Legacy / Planned Giving

A gift through your estate can provide significant support to Castle Medical Center. The gift can be made through a will or a trust, and both documents enable you to distribute assets to individuals and nonprofit organizations in the amounts or proportions you indicate. A gift through your estate can be made in the following ways:

  • Specific bequest
  • Contingent bequest
  • Residuary bequest
  • Trust established under a will.
