On Monday, December 15, 2008, philanthropist Joseph J. Zilber, founder of the Milwaukee-based Joseph and Vera Zilber Family Foundation, presented Castle Medical Center with a check for $500,000 for the renovation of Castle Medical Center’s Birth Center, now known as the Vera Zilber Birth Center.
